Huia Hamon is from an artistic family of creatives and her koro Rei Hamon is a renowned Māori artist.

She literally grew up in an art gallery and it is a natural state for her to paint, draw and make. HUIA has had several art exhibitions and successful colouring series and is the custodian of the Hamon Art online art gallery
